Pentecost cartoon

I’ve just finished & uploaded my 113th cartoon to this website. The subject is the gift of the Holy Spirit given to all the believers, on the day of Pentecost. The story can be read in Acts, chapter 2. I wanted to create something a bit different, so instead of just having little flames gently bobbing above the disciples heads, I have introduced lightning, coming from heaven, & flashing out from a central source, with the flames at the end of each stroke… much more dramatic!

I’ve noticed that a lot of the cartoons lightning detail has been lost when I resample from 300dpi (the resolution I work at) to 20dpi (the resolution I upload to this website), so I have cropped a section of the picture & pasted it here to show you the sort of detail that you could see in the hi-resolution version of this picture.
