Luke 2:6-7 (NLT)
6 And while they [Joseph & Mary] were there [in Bethlehem in Judea], the time came for her baby to be born. 7 She gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the village inn.

LIGHTING NOTES:
The main light source for this cartoon is the glow coming from the infant Jesus. There is also an oil lamp (unseen, off to the right) which gives a warm yellow light to the scene.

Jesus, Joseph, Mary (the mother of Jesus)

This scene (completed in a single day in Nov 2022) is a replacement for a Bible Cartoon I drew in Oct 2010, but never really liked! You can see the original version at the bottom of the page.
