Yesterday & today (13-14th October 2009) I am spending half my time in a local primary school, teaching the children about drawing. We are looking at pencil line weight (feint & heavy lines), drawing hands, & finally drawing faces. Yesterday was good fun & the children enjoyed themselves. There was evidence of some good drawing skills developing in the class.
I have always maintained that you need a lot of concentration for art, which is why it can be quite tiring. It certainly is tiring when you are teaching art too!
Apart from that, I am working on one-off cartoons at the moment, which relate to the front page of this website… all will be revealed soon!
