Easter Animals – green (there’s a brown version too, see link below).


I’ve loaded a new Easter card design, called “Easter Animals.” In case you are wondering what all the different creatures are, here the list. They are all live in & around Israel.

The birds, perched on a thorny vine, from left to right are:
2 x Tibetan Bunting or Kozlov’s Bunting (Emberiza koslowi)
2 x Slaty Bunting (Latoucheornis siemsseni)
2 x Fire-fronted Serin or Red-fronted Serin (Serinus pusillus)

The small rodents, from left to right are:
2 x Pygmy gerbils (Gerbillus henleyi)
2 x Bushy-tailed jirds (Sekeetamys calurus)
3 x Persian field mouse (Apodemus arianus)
2 x Cairo spiny mouse (Acomys cahirinus)
1 x Greater Egyptian jerboa (Jaculus orientalis)
1 x Asian garden dormouse (Eliomys melanurus)

The small lizard in the mid-foreground is:
Mediterranean Gecko (also called the Mediterranean House Gecko or Turkish Gecko (Hemidactylus turcicus)
