DRAWING NOTES:

TIME OF DAY:
Unspecified in the Bible narrative. I have set this scene just after noon.

LIGHTING NOTES:
Sunlight illuminates this scene, coming into the large courtyard room through a hole in the ceiling above the fig tree and through small windows high in the walls. The light casts shadows below the figures and objects in this scene.

CHARACTERS PRESENT:
From left to right: Jesus (in blue outer robe), the sinful woman kneeling before Jesus, 2 guests, Simon the Pharisee.

RESEARCH/ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This scene follows on immediately from the previous one and shows Jesus helping the sinful woman up off the floor. Simon and the guest in purple are looking angrily at Jesus and the sinful woman, while the guest in a red robe is considering the meaning of Jesus’s words and actions with a somewhat more thoughtful expression on his face.

I have used the same room and couches from the previous scene in the background.
