Plagues of darkness

I’ve just finished plague number 9: the plague of darkness. It proved to be quite a challenge, as the image is divided up so strongly by the contrast between sunlight & blackness. In fact I have used very dark greys, blues & purples, rather than black, for the left half of the scene, as pure black would have been a bit dull to look at!
I have also introduced some vague, shadowy Egyptian figures into the scene, but the watermark text rather obscures them. See below for a close up of the foreground dark area & see if you can make out the house & figures.
